Across 14 tracks his Synthergic (67:53) welcomes you to the world you belong in. Once we adjust our minds to the spacey synthetic arrangement, cognitive processes may begin to be triggered. With its fields of droning oscillators setting off motoring sequencer circuits Synthergic conjures multi-dimensional spaces of thoughtful tonal weight. Here, such a calm stillness is nevertheless filled with tension and unanswered questions. An ethereal iridescence glistens in vividly imagined archaic modulations as the thermal reading drops down to chill room degrees. The mood rises and falls, hardens and softens on passing clouds of chords, as contrasts in current inform the ordering of emotions. Yet, informed listeners will hear unity in Synthergic's arrangements and easily catch the spirit it means to convey.
